11:27 kokliko Hi thanak for replying
11:27 kokliko I don t know if i can send an image
11:28 kokliko but what I see is the initial galssfish index.html script
11:29 Youssef_Ouahalou Have you finished the dataverse installation script? did you start glassfish?
11:29 kokliko like: Your server is now running ... to replace this page.
11:29 kokliko yes I just did
11:29 kokliko glassfish is accessible in port 4848 as well
11:30 kokliko I launched the python3 install and follwed it to the end
11:30 Youssef_Ouahalou Was there no error during installation?
11:31 kokliko but I did get this message
11:31 kokliko Can't connect to PostgresQL as the admin user.
11:31 kokliko I though I can fix it when i log in
11:33 kokliko Does receiving this message means that dataverse is not installed? or it just need soome modification?
11:39 Youssef_Ouahalou If there is an error the installation stops and you have a message that appears
11:41 kokliko I got this message at the end of the installation:
11:41 kokliko Is this correct? [y/n] y performing database setup Can't connect to PostgresQL as the admin user.  Is the server running, have you adjusted pg_hba.conf, etc?
11:41 kokliko I did adjust the pg_conf file
11:43 Youssef_Ouahalou you have centos 7?
11:44 Youssef_Ouahalou I think you did not configure postgresql well
11:44 Youssef_Ouahalou http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.20/installation/prerequisites.html#postgresql
11:45 Youssef_Ouahalou @kokliko Check if you have followed all the steps, then relaunch the installation script

14:25 pameyer interessting question for Sherri - is payara any better about handling resources than glassfish
14:26 pameyer from Sherri, I mean
15:05 donsizemore @pameyer A: YES!
15:06 pameyer awesome!
15:07 pameyer I've developed an irrational paranoia about resource leaks for some reason
15:11 donsizemore irrational?
15:13 pameyer well, maybe not completely irrational ;)
15:27 donsizemore for me it's hardware failure anxiety and it is irrational
15:30 pameyer no - worrying about hardware failure is completely rational
15:30 pameyer especially when there's limited on-site access
