pdurbin: I've been in vacation mode for a few weeks now. The most useful things I have done, aside from vacation mode, are help the scipy conf folks with their tech stuff. they were pretty happy!

I think I don't want to go to any more conference for a whole week. I was going to go help at DebConf (Debian conference) this fall, but after scipy I canceled those plans

For future events I've come up with a streamlined process for blog posts: use software carpentry-esque feedback notes for content.
