10:12 pdurbin skay: you might find that interesting
12:48 pdurbin bencomp: I tried to reply to your question: Support for multiple PID prefixes - Google Groups - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/dataverse-community/xVb9a6dY8FQ/LYzmGFaZAAAJ
12:55 bencomp pdurbin: thanks!
12:57 pdurbin bencomp: some easier-to-answer questions would be appreciate ;)
13:00 bencomp pdurbin: how about: where can I find all of the FRDs bundled? :)
13:01 pdurbin bencomp: ah ha! I'm glad you asked
13:01 bencomp or: would you say that "search relevance" is a functional or a non-functional requirement?
13:01 pdurbin because I created a folder for this when you were on vacation, sort of
13:02 pdurbin there are so many FRDs that a single folder cannot contain them. :)
13:02 pdurbin but I made a new folder called "community-contributed" or something. let me go find it
13:03 bencomp :O
13:03 pdurbin README for Dataverse Community-Contributed Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MQVYTpK6nRk4X4GBRbKwoGFS4l4Fnb1oKJLqdsQsmUQ/edit?usp=sharing
13:05 pdurbin I hope that readme makes sense.
13:06 bencomp it does, but where is the actual stuff?
13:09 pdurbin bencomp: here's a link to the folder the README is in: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B_qMYwdHFZghflN6aE9COXpzUEo0UE9McUZBVnZ1SjNOR0lLeW5vOFVMZXFuN2ZaRkhyTkE&usp=sharing
13:16 pdurbin bencomp: am I going in the right direction with this? Would you like me to create an FRD for you to fill out?
13:16 bencomp pdurbin: okay, so there is no overview of existing FRDs yet?
13:17 pdurbin bencomp: hmm. well, I've been trying to link to upcoming ones in the description of the "In Design" milestone at https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/milestones
13:22 bencomp pdurbin: ah yes, I remember you saying that this exists
13:23 bencomp but there must be many more to fill a Drive folder :)
14:20 pdurbin bencomp: yes, there are many more FRDs :)
14:21 pdurbin they're spread over a lot of folders
14:42 pdurbin bencomp: I'm pretty sure not all of them are public either. Would it be helpful if I add to that readme and start linking to public ones?
14:59 bencomp pdurbin: I noticed not all are public. Sure, you can link the public ones, but there must be a way to make it dynamic, right?
15:02 pdurbin I guess the way to make it dynamic would be to move all FRDs to one (public) folder. Within that folder the FRDs could be organized by subfolder like they are now.
15:11 bencomp or two publicly viewable folders, if you like.
15:13 pdurbin bencomp: I'm fine with whatever. Do you feel like proposing something in a GitHub issue? Right now https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md says "All FRDs are publicly available through a link that is added to the github issue for the idea/feature request."
15:17 bencomp I'm adding a comment to https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/2246
15:17 bencomp Liz created this during the DCM after I asked for this overview
