18:10	cwillis	Greetings -- I'm working with the NDS on a Docker-based deployment of Dataverse (mentioned here recently). We've recently split things into a new repo -- https://github.com/nds-org/ndslabs-dataverse. Any feedback/questions welcome. (The iRods integration is based on work out of Odum/RENCI).

18:30	cwillis	pdurbin: Thanks (and for your comments in the doc). We'll be demoing this next week at the NDSC workshop. The container is currently based on 4.2.3.
18:31	pdurbin	Cool. 4.3 is out, as you may know. I'm quite interested in the new fancy Kubernetes stuff but I have to admit I'm not even very up to speed with Docker. I'm glad it's all demo-able! :)

18:35	pdurbin	cwillis: do you think the container would run on https://cloud.google.com/container-engine/ ? It's my understanding that Kubernetes is behind the scenes in that offering by Google.
18:38	cwillis	We're running Kubernetes on OpenStack and haven't tested on the other cloud providers. That said, I'm not aware of a reason it wouldn't work.
