axfelix: thanks. Removing the "admin only" restriction for SWORD may open up new possibilities. I don't expect it will cause any problems for you. I'm not sure who performs the SWORD operations from OJS. I think it's a dedicated account for the journal. I don't think you have a mix of accounts doing operations, some of which are authors.

yeah, as far as I can tell the change should be totally backward compatible with the existing configuration, and it theoretically allows us to add a more granular permissions model [which we may never do], but as long as there remains a dedicated account for the journal in most cases, should be fine
