13:12 donsizemore @pdurbin morning! chad, jan's new coworker/minion/compatriot, writes: "I'm curious too, since I would think it should show up. I'll compare the metadata vs. the database when I have the chance."

17:47 pdurbin donsizemore: who's there?
18:24 donsizemore @pdurbin the dumb dumb who's always busticating Dataverse. but I think I'm good on all counts
18:38 pdurbin donsizemore: all good afterall? Good! :)
18:45 donsizemore @pdurbin: i think so. postgres questions about the ownership of schema and subsequent runs of pg_restore --clean by a non-privileged user. if i grant all privs on schema public to that user, the error clears on the first pg_restore. returns on the 2nd
18:46 pdurbin hmm, I don't know much about this... I just set everything to "trust" on my laptop
18:47 pdurbin what could possibly go wrong
19:13 donsizemore @pdurbin: that's my feeling - this is only on importing a dumpfile from our production 3.6 to my staging 3.6. i've let dataverse do its own creation and set its own permissions on the new production dataverse 4 box.
19:14 donsizemore @pdurbin: jon and thumai, btw, are purging a ton of harvested stuff from our production 3.6 dataverse today to reduce import errors into 4.4. i'm curious to see how much the database shrinks once it finishes
19:15 pdurbin donsizemore: other folks on the team know more about this stuff. I'd recommend emailing support@dataverse.org
19:15 pdurbin this talks about postgres security: http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.4/installation/prerequisites.html#configuring-database-access-for-the-dataverse-application-and-the-dataverse-installer
