18:44 telnoratti pdurbin: any more places dataverse stores things like https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse-aws/issues/10?

19:21 pdurbin_m telnoratti: please see http://irclog.iq.harvard.edu/dataverse/2016-09-14
19:59 pdurbin which led to this (internal) ticket: "Shared docroot folder": https://help.hmdc.harvard.edu/Ticket/Display.html?id=240995
20:01 pdurbin telnoratti: can you please file an issue at https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues describing the problem from your perspective? It's a bug for sure.
20:03 telnoratti That it's storing in docroot?
20:04 pdurbin well
20:04 pdurbin what's the bug
20:04 * pdurbin thinks
20:05 pdurbin the workaround is to use a symlink
20:06 pdurbin "I finally made a symlink of the « logos »  folder to my shared store, and the files are uploaded in one shared place. But Glassfish don’t follow symlinks and I had 404 errors at the logos loading."
20:07 pdurbin followed by "there is a way to make Glassfish follow links …  <virtual-server network-listeners="http-listener-1,http-listener-2,jk-connector" id="server"><property name="allowLinking" value="true"></property></virtual-server>"
20:08 pdurbin telnoratti: does that help at all?
20:25 djbrooke joined #dataverse
20:30 telnoratti Oh I see. We were looking at just mounting a docker volume there, wouldn't need a symlink
20:30 telnoratti Good to know about following symlinks as we discussed it
20:42 pdurbin telnoratti: cool. Can you please update https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse-aws/issues/10 with whatever you decide? No rush.
21:06 telnoratti yeah, I think we need to make sure it'll work first
