13:26 donsizemore just curious if anyone's seen ConcurrentModificationExceptions whilst being harvested?
13:34 pdurbin donsizemore: note that I'm aware of... can you please open a GitHub issue? Are you on the lastest? Maybe upgrade first. :)
13:34 pdurbin hmm, you're still on 4.5
13:34 pdurbin 4.6.1 is out
13:34 donsizemore @pdurbin we're upgrading once jon comes back from florida
13:34 pdurbin you wouldn't want him to miss it :)
13:35 donsizemore @pdurbin he's had bronchitis/pneumonia, now vacation to recover so i'm holding down the fort until he returns
13:36 pdurbin poor guy
13:36 pdurbin at least he gets to go to Florida :)
13:36 pdurbin still tons of ice here, a friend slipped and broke her arm the other day :(
13:38 donsizemore @pdurbin thu-mai and only thu-mai gets a 500 error checking her notifications, ConcurrentModificationException in server.log and I can see Postgres in UPDATE waiting. i'm looking forward to upgrading, particularly for the new authentication schemes!
13:38 donsizemore @pdurbin i thought about you as i walked around a frozen puddle on campus yesterday. i'm sorry to hear about your friend =(
13:40 pdurbin don't worry about me, I'm clonking around in these: https://www.rei.com/product/760710/stabilicers-lite-traction-devices :)
13:42 pdurbin donsizemore: it sounds like Thu-Mai is suffering from this issue: Notifications: page slow to load and results in time-out when many undeleted notifications · Issue #2892 · IQSS/dataverse - https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/2892
13:44 donsizemore @pdurbin ooooh... i saw the title of that issue but it didn't click. in the DB she has 55 notifications, all marked as read and e-mailed

15:55 pdurbin bjonnh pameyer: Any thoughts on this tweet? "Comparison of Sage Synapse https://www.synapse.org and Dataverse https://dataverse.harvard.edu for big computational bio projects ??" https://twitter.com/bgood/status/840283953999175680
16:10 pameyer pdurbin: my first though it that requiring 3rd party javascript makes me cranky

19:18 bjonnh pdurbin: hey
19:18 bjonnh pdurbin: I'm not really into big [data, computation] things
19:18 pdurbin oh
19:18 pdurbin no worries
19:19 pdurbin :)
19:19 bjonnh pdurbin: loading time of the synergy website is horrible
19:19 bjonnh is that a point to consider ? ;)
19:19 pdurbin no idea, I was just wondering if someone could reply to that guy on Twitter
19:19 bjonnh pdurbin: are you in communication with the Allotrope foundation?
19:20 bjonnh you as in "dataverse people"
19:20 bjonnh pdurbin: I like the focuse synapse have on their web site with the programmatic access
19:20 bjonnh s/focuse/focus
19:24 pdurbin no, but "Allotrope Foundation is creating an open, publically available Framework for the analytical laboratory" sounds nice, from http://www.allotrope.org/what-are-we-building
19:24 pdurbin heh, I like that they have a "What is out of scope?" section
19:34 bjonnh yeah we are now part of their network
19:35 bjonnh what they do is great
19:35 pdurbin cool
19:35 bjonnh way more than what I was thinking just by looking at their website ;)
19:35 bjonnh having an ADF integration in dataverse would be great :)
19:35 pdurbin ADF?
19:36 bjonnh their "format"
19:36 bjonnh the full framework
19:36 pdurbin Allotrope Data Format?
19:37 bjonnh yes
19:37 bjonnh well I'm new to all of it
19:37 bjonnh I just got access to the resources really recently
19:38 bjonnh and cannot talk about most of it except public things
19:38 bjonnh (industrials are involved and they do/may share proprietary informations)
19:40 pdurbin ok
19:43 bjonnh I think they released a preformat
19:43 bjonnh or something
