14:17 pameyer pdurbin: I agree with you about making the error message for 3805 clearer
14:18 pdurbin pameyer: please feel free to re-open or add a comment to an open, related issue
14:18 pameyer I'll track down my running "API doc glitches" issues and comment there
14:19 pdurbin heh, ok
14:20 pameyer actually; looks like it's Eleni's issue...
14:24 pdurbin link?
14:27 pameyer https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/2174
14:36 pdurbin thanks
14:37 pdurbin That issue would benefit from a defintion of done.
14:41 pameyer especially since "done" depends on something not happening (aka - people reading the API docs getting confused)
14:41 pameyer example curl commands, JSON/other data, and possible errors might get it closer though
14:42 pdurbin pameyer: since you're using the API and Eleni and Ben aren't anymore, I'd say that you should feel free to close that issue and create a new one that has a definition of done that you'd be happy with.
14:43 pameyer ok
14:59 pdurbin donsizemore: mornin'. How well do you understand https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3687 ?
15:01 donsizemore @pdurbin in essence, I'd say we'll need to upgrade to 4.6 before I'd worry much more about it. note that dataverse-test.irss.unc.edu contains a database import from dataverse.unc.edu and may be useful for testing
15:01 pdurbin donsizemore: ok, I'm asking because there's a new pull request to look at
15:02 donsizemore @pdurbin how may i best help?
15:03 pdurbin donsizemore: hmm, do you know tkgesis? You two seem to be in cahoots somehow. :)
15:04 donsizemore @pdurbin i don't, i just chimed in on #3797
15:05 donsizemore (which all comes down to error handling)
15:06 pdurbin ah, ok :)
