12:35 bricas morning all, wondering if i've found a bug or i'm seeing the proper behavior here...
12:35 bricas running DB 4.7.1, i can view all the users on the dashboard and their roles.
12:36 bricas I have 7 people with the "Admin" role
12:38 bricas oh, n/m -- i guess the root dataverse will possibly have different user+roles than the other dataverse (duh)
12:39 bricas was wondering why everyone wasn't showing up under permissions on the root dv -- BUT, i've answered my own Q. sorry!
12:52 pdurbin all good, bricas

12:56 bricas honestly though, it's a bit of a pain to remove someone by going through each dataverse to see where they might have some sort of access (unless there's a better way?)
12:56 bricas this particular person had admin on 1 dataverse and contributor on a dataset in another dataverse

16:05 caseykoons Hello. Can anyone point me to an example of an institutional dataverse hosted on Harvard's dataverse that is integrated with the institution's website?

17:34 soU hello there, how can i export DDI for all dataset? when i migrate from 3.x to 4.x what should i copy from the old server addition to the db and exported DDI?
17:50 caseykoons Hello. Can anyone point me to an example of an institutional dataverse hosted on Harvard's dataverse that is integrated with the institution's website?
17:52 michbarsinai Gary King has an integrated dataverse on his website: https://gking.harvard.edu/data
17:52 michbarsinai (technically not an institution, but still an integration)
17:53 caseykoons Thanks!

18:05 pdurbin_m caseykoons: are you all set? Is that example sufficient?
18:06 pdurbin_m https://data.harvard.edu also embeds a widget from Harvard Dataverse
18:08 pdurbin_m bricas: I'm thinking more people should see your feedback. Would you want to create a GitHub issue or start a thread on the mailing list?
18:10 pdurbin_m soU: no reply on https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/dataverse-migration-wg/VW447T_KjRs yet, I see. Have you emailed support@dataverse.org ?
18:39 pdurbin caseykoons: you might find what's written at https://dataverse.harvard.edu/dataverse/bc interesting. Boston College hosts with Harvard Dataverse and has written their own Quick Start Guide.
18:41 pdurbin caseykoons: I took some notes on what BC wants, ideally: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/dataverse-community/RkUqwFjSLv4/Y3nouV6HBgAJ
18:57 caseykoons This is great stuff. Thank you so much for your help.
19:01 pdurbin caseykoons: oh sure. Thanks for considering Harvard Dataverse for hosting.
