14:49 donsizemore hey @djbrooke i have a silly python script which attempts to verify all files in a dataset in original format, then verifies the local md5 against that in the dataset JSON IIRC
14:50 donsizemore @djbrooke @pdurbin and i talked about starting an "archivist's toolbox" for such dataverse-specific scripts but i forget how far we got

15:44 djbrooke good to know @donsizemore - thanks for checking in! If it's in a public place, can you link me? Or link for Michel in the groups thread?
16:07 soU i deploy DVN-web_v3_6_3_MIGRATION.war and everything is working. but after i login as network admin and try to browse http://localhost/dvn/ddi i am getting blank page, if i logged out and tied that i got "You are not authorized for this action."
16:10 soU as it is mention here https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/blob/master/scripts/migration/migration_presteps.txt i tried to run ./versions_source_ "http://<DVN 3.6 HOSTNAME>/dvn/ddi" "<YOUR NAME SPACE>" i got list of xmls in ddi directory but when i open each xml it says <HTML>
16:10 soU <HEAD><TITLE>DDI (modified) Export</TITLE></HEAD>
16:10 soU <BODY>
16:10 soU <BIG>You are not authorized for this action.</BIG>
16:10 soU </BODY></HTML>
16:12 soU but inside the ddi folder it creates directories by the dataverses name which is correct
16:13 soU inside the dataverse named directory there are xml files but consists the above message
16:17 pdurbin soU: hmm. Did you end up opening a support ticket?
16:17 pdurbin donsizemore: same question as djbrooke :)
16:19 djbrooke soU: good to see you again! As pdurbin mentioned, please drop us a line at support@dataverse.org
16:19 pdurbin djbrooke: good answer at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/dataverse-community/2zO_JpyJ2To/vr-Y9czuBgAJ . It's a fairly manual effort but researcher could verify the checksums locally. Part of http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.7.1/installation/data-capture-module.html is automating that process, of course.
