but I (nor the user out on the interwebs) can get my password reset e-mail. for him i blame our production dataverse using the campus mail relay, but our test server sends straight from the box

(i'm not asking for help with functionality, but typically whenever i mention something you respond "oh, that reminds me of issue ####" and link to an open github issue that my searches didn't turn up

a test message from the CLI goes through immediately. Dataverse responds "password reset message initiated" but I never get it

i can open another issue, or troubleshoot further here then open another issue, yes other e-mails from glassfish go through just fine

I wonder what's different about password reset. Should be the same code path as other emails being sent. I don't think this is a problem for Harvard Dataverse but you're welcome to open a GitHub issue, donsizemore

whoops! so I tried a third account and messages go through immediately, both production and test. of course, the receiving mail service this time was ibiblio =)

@pdurbin so, this is interesting. the guy's account exists in both builtinuser and authenticateduser, and the createdtime on his authenticateduser entry is on the day after he attempted the password reset
