Hi, I have a question concerning the import of existing DOIs into a Dataverse environment. Looking at the documentation there is not any chapter about this kind of import, but when looking at the issue list there are some notes about a DDI import which do seem to support it.. But.. when trying to submit a xml file through Postman it still wont accept an existing DOI. Do you guys have any solution for that? Or is Dataverse not really the product to us

Nevermind my question. it seems updating my dv version to 4.8 fixes my issue :)

The only thing i'm currently trying to figure out is how to mark the imported set as published

If it helps, we're actively working on import of datasets with existing DOIs using JSON instead of XML : https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3083

@pdurbin remember when Jon said that Akio's TRSA PR handled XML but not JSON ? we were corrected yesterday; it handles both FWTW

donsizemore: thanks. My guess was going to be that it only handles JSON , actually, but good to know it handles both. It's in code review now.
