11:55 rbrink Hi, I have a question concerning the import of existing DOIs into a Dataverse environment. Looking at the documentation there is not any chapter about this kind of import, but when looking at the issue list there are some notes about a DDI import which do seem to support it.. But.. when trying to submit a xml file through Postman it still wont accept an existing DOI. Do you guys have any solution for that? Or is Dataverse not really the product to us
12:26 rbrink Nevermind my question. it seems updating my dv version to 4.8 fixes my issue :)
12:26 rbrink The only thing i'm currently trying to figure out is how to mark the imported set as published

13:04 pdurbin If it helps, we're actively working on import of datasets with existing DOIs using JSON instead of XML: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3083

13:45 donsizemore @pdurbin remember when Jon said that Akio's TRSA PR handled XML but not JSON? we were corrected yesterday; it handles both FWTW
13:48 pdurbin donsizemore: thanks. My guess was going to be that it only handles JSON, actually, but good to know it handles both. It's in code review now.
