@pdurbin @pmauduit correct, I created https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse-ansible/tree/99_collectd_grafana and had been dropping the example configs from issue #99 into the workflow.

yes, anyway at first connection to grafana, I can hardly remember it asked me to change the password, so maybe we are missing some "bootstrap" steps in grafana (I'd expect a default org - id = 1 - to be created)

1) the grafana dashboard JSON . valid json, throws a key error on import. any chance you could take a second look at the example you posted to issue #99?

2) dataverse permissions. it was a design decision for them not to propagate to sub-dataverses, correct?

For 1, can you please put the key error in the issue? For 2, yes, every sub dataverse is an island of permissions due to technical challenges (but we're open to ideas).
