13:27	richard_valdivia	We get one error with Shibboleth. In login page we receibe the "javascript alert" error: Internal Error - Failed to download metadata from /Shibboleth.sso/DiscoFeed.

13:28	poikilotherm	It should be a matter of disabling the auth service
13:28	poikilotherm	So people cannot click on the button anymore
13:29	poikilotherm	But obviously everyone that logged in via Shib cannot login till you convert the accounts

13:33	poikilotherm	Please take a look at http://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/installation/shibboleth.html#add-the-shibboleth-authentication-provider-to-dataverse - there is a DELETE call via curl to the API that should do the trick for you
13:33	poikilotherm	At least from the Dataverse side of stuff
13:33	poikilotherm	If you have configured your Apache, added Shib etc you will have to remove that, too in case you want to get completly rid of it
13:34	poikilotherm	There's also http://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/installation/shibboleth.html#converting-shibboleth-users-to-local about converting accounts in case you have any users you need to keep

15:12	donsizemore	@richard_valdivia you don't technically have to tear down all the shib stuff if you're not going to use it, just removing the setting in Dataverse will disable it
