13:45	kminta	I wonder if somebody can help me with Shibboleth config for local test instance of dataverse. I walked through http://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/installation/shibboleth.html, but i still can't successfully log in with testshib provider. I`m getting error opensaml::saml2md::MetadataException: Unable to locate metadata for identity provider (https://idp.testshib.org/idp/shibboleth) and for now i have no idea what to do with this...

14:26	poikilotherm	Personally I can't help you because I am not around while 2010 is calling... It's 2020 and Shib as an SP generates more problems than it fixes.

16:58	kminta	donsizemore So it's like that... Actually I'm even more suprised. As I said before I walked through mentioned doc, and still got testshib instead of SAMLTest as the choice in shibboleth login. So it's just misconfiguration. I didn't notice that this were 2 different things. I will dive into this once again on friday, thanks for help :)

19:41	donsizemore	@kminta now that i get a minute to look at the guides, i still see testshib in the example shibboleth2.xml. they shouldn't be there.
