18:49 nightowl313 hey all ... i had to move dv to a different shib IDP in my org ... they sent me a new metadata file ... do I just need to replace the dataverse-idp-metadata.xml file with that file? and restart shibd? is there anything else that I need to do to make institutional login work again? it was working great with the old metadata/IDP
18:57 nightowl313 although I had a lot of trouble initially setting it up in AWS =)

22:29 nightowl313 nm my question earlier ... turns out the error was on the IDP side
22:30 nightowl313 but, has there been any change in the ability to delete users in dataverse? now that I am using a different IDP, all of the accounts that I had set up as shib accounts in my dataverse are not recognized, so it is trying to re-add them, but then getting a 500 error
22:30 nightowl313 so, for my account, when I click login and choose my IDP, it tries to re-add my account, but since it is already there, it errors out
