Hi everyone! :) I just wondered if somebody had a quick answer. The manual says that "Once a user creates a dataverse they, by default, become the administrator of that dataverse." Can I change that default? We only want the curators of the parent dataverse to publish

jonas: hi! There's a way to copy over the roles of the parent dataverse. It's called :InheritParentRoleAssignments - http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.20/installation/config.html#inheritparentroleassignments

thanks for the quick reply! your link says "same role(s) on the new Dataverse (in addition to the creator of the new Dataverse having an admin role..." - since we don't want to give them the admin role, can we still find a workaround based onm this?

Hi, I have a question: does the Search API needs special configuration? In dataverse.org search API works without passing the API Token, but in our dataverse it doesn't.

@xarthisius @pdurbin Andrey started out in Flask then went back to grad school. Matthew rewrote it in Django and has it pulling files from Dataverse but has gotten derailed by another project which may result in a SAS ingest-er for Dataverse

Well all it really is is that we know that CoReRe will be generating metadata as part of its operations, but until the parts are operating we haven't nailed anything specific down.
