19:43	donsizemore	cool, i'll put it back. i asked him because i didn't find those steps in the installer proper
19:43	pdurbin	I ran into this myself last week when getting them to pass locally.
19:44	pdurbin	Yeah, I'm using the new installer (the python one) and it didn't set up that sequence in postgres for me.
19:45	pdurbin	I mean, I guess you could hide it behind the "run test" flag if you want.
19:45	pdurbin	I do agree that most installations don't need it. But it's part of our app so we test it.
19:46	donsizemore	can you think of any other use case? (they apparently haven't been hurting anything all this time)
19:47	pdurbin	We added that sequence for pameyer. He wanted the DOI for his datasets to end in a number just like his old datasets. End in /42 I mean, if that makes sense.
