I asked where to find papers/projects that cite a particular dataset, and PDurbin answered, but probably he assumed that the dataset was my own. I should have clarified. It is not. Can I still know the papers/projects that use or cite it?

I've browsed the issue list, but i can't see where there's a resolution to having to double zip a file to just upload a zip...?

dataverse-user: yes, you still can, even if it isn't your dataset.

bricas: there's this issue that bjonnh opened many years ago: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3439

poikilotherm2: I saw your issue. To be honest, I don't change settings (or JVM options very often). Maybe the one for setting an upcoming outage message? In prod, I mean.

pdurbin: yeah, i tried to grok that but didn't see an actual answer?

bricas: basically, at the time Dataverse didn't support file hierarchy but now that id does, bjonnh no long feels the need to zip files. So no need for the "double zip" workaround for him. But you may have other reasons for wanting zip files not to be unpacked.

a user just wanted to have the zip as the data, <shrug>
15:44
pdurbin
bricas: ok, in that case, the workaround is still to double zip.

pdurbin: noted! will pass that along. thanks!
