I still have the cert problem when trying to work with dvn_client. http://dpaste.com/hold/1561595/ this paste shows that the workspace information returned for my demo dataverse has an href that points to dvn-demo.iq.harvard.edu, though I specified dvn-1.hmdc.harvard.edu when creating the connection |
| 21:52 |
|
skay |
is that expected behavior? |
| 21:57 |
|
skay |
when I set the collection's href by hand, the cert matches up properly with the Dataverse object. http://dpaste.com/hold/1561612/ |

skay: oh, I see, you want dvn-1 all the time... but dvn-demo is getting returned. hmm |
| 22:15 |
|
skay |
I need dvn-1 since dvn-demo doesn't match the cert, so that causes an exception |
| 22:16 |
|
skay |
the sword connection service document href has dvn-demo in it -- I haven't read the sword2 source code yet |
| 22:21 |
|
skay |
pdurbin: okay, that's just what dvn-1 returns from the service-document endpoint |
| 22:21 |
|
skay |
is it a problem for you to change that? |
| 22:29 |
|
pdurbin |
skay: easier might be to have you try a different server, such as https://dvn-4.hmdc.harvard.edu/dvn/ |
| 22:30 |
|
pdurbin |
still self-signed but dvn-4 has a single hostname... and if memory serves dvn-4 is the one the python guys were using |
| 22:30 |
|
skay |
Okay, I'll try that |
| 22:30 |
|
pdurbin |
great |
| 22:30 |
|
skay |
I was about to go ahead and try out dvn-install-demo to get everything locally |
| 22:30 |
|
skay |
but if dvn-4 works I'll be happy |
| 22:31 |
|
pdurbin |
me too :) |
| 22:32 |
|
pdurbin |
axfelix: this dvn-demo/dvn-1 thing has affected you too, right? |
| 22:38 |
|
skay |
anyway, dvn-4 works |
