I was hoping we could upgrade to Glassfish 4.1.1 so we all don't have to patch Weld and Grizzly anymore. Turns out we can't: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/2628 :(
21:28
donsizemore
i can tell you all have been really busy =)
21:28
donsizemore
i actually found what i was looking for right after i signed into the channel (of course)
21:30
pdurbin
oh good
21:30
donsizemore
but thought you might like to know that, for me, zip file downloads from apache-fronted glassfish over https with the grizzly patch are zippy. i was popping in to inquire about the 10MB limit, which i found as issue 2686
21:31

donsizemore: and you seem to be using the http://chat.dataverse.org interface. I hope you like it. Yesterday I put something in so node.js restarts if the process crashes: https://github.com/erming/shout-roadmap/issues/10#issuecomment-157832927

looks at File Download: Multiple file download size limit restricts zip download to 10MB. Needs to be configurable again, have sensible default. · Issue #2686 · IQSS/dataverse - https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/2686
21:34
pdurbin
donsizemore: yeah, I just confirmed with Leonid that that issue hasn't been worked on yet.
21:35
pdurbin
donsizemore: oh! I should have you check out https://github.com/pdurbin/druthers . I'd love to know what you think. :)
21:37
donsizemore
i love it!
21:37
donsizemore
assuming there's a way to game it ;)
21:37
pdurbin
donsizemore: don't stuff the ballot box
21:38
pdurbin
donsizemore: is donsizemore your github username too? I'll add your issues to my (currently internal) version of votes.tsv
21:39
pdurbin
donsizemore: for now I'm putting 2686 as your number 1. :)
21:40
donsizemore
that's me. no giggling at the contents, pretty please
21:40
donsizemore
2686 would be my #2, a definite "no" on the java serialization vulnerability would be a #1
21:41
pdurbin
donsizemore: huh. is there an issue for that?
21:41
donsizemore
i sent in a help ticket, kevin was going to forward it to dev
21:41
pdurbin
(my script assumes there's a github issue tracking every issue)
21:42
donsizemore
but i think it's a "me" thing, i'm very good at worrying
21:42
pdurbin
heh

from my druthers repo I should link to this: Add explicit `+1` feature for issues that isn't a comment · Issue #9 · isaacs/github - https://github.com/isaacs/github/issues/9

I've also suggested that Waffle could do it: https://github.com/waffleio/waffle.io/issues/126#issuecomment-149087524

well, it's assigned to a developer at least
