I've done a little bit of searching but I can't find the webpage that describes how to backup the dataverse db?

I'd like to write a cron job that backs up to a file basically

not asking for help on writing the cron/script to do the actual backup, just trying to figure out how to get dataverse to dump the data somewhere lol

@andrewSC to my knowledge you'll just need dvndb. solr can be nuked and regenerated independently. i suppose you could back up its index-dir but it's probably cleaner to re-index, though it can take a while if you have a ton of datasets

donsizemore: yeah I can rebuild solr indexes, it's just the data that I need to do so lol

Sudfunk: pdurbin'll probably have a better answer for you than I would, but one possibility is that the smtp server you're trying to use requires authentication

i am trying to install dataverse in the laptop , using virtualbox white centos 7, glassfish works fine , postgress oke, solr up.., but during dvinstall i have some problem to set smtp ..
