12:58 andrewSC hi all
12:59 andrewSC I've done a little bit of searching but I can't find the webpage that describes how to backup the dataverse db?
12:59 andrewSC I'd like to write a cron job that backs up to a file basically
13:00 andrewSC not asking for help on writing the cron/script to do the actual backup, just trying to figure out how to get dataverse to dump the data somewhere lol
13:16 donsizemore @andrewSC check out https://wiki.postgresql.org/wiki/Automated_Backup_on_Linux
13:16 donsizemore @andrewSC you just pick your config options and queue the script in cron
13:16 andrewSC oh durp
13:16 andrewSC for some reason I thought there needed to be something done with glassfish/solr as well...
13:17 andrewSC yeah I'm familiar with pgdumps so that'll be easy
13:17 andrewSC donsizemore: thanks for the realization :)
13:18 donsizemore @andrewSC to my knowledge you'll just need dvndb. solr can be nuked and regenerated independently. i suppose you could back up its index-dir but it's probably cleaner to re-index, though it can take a while if you have a ton of datasets
13:18 andrewSC donsizemore: yeah I can rebuild solr indexes, it's just the data that I need to do so lol

17:16 pameyer Sudfunk: pdurbin'll probably have a better answer for you than I would, but one possibility is that the smtp server you're trying to use requires authentication
17:17 Sudfunk how i supose to set them , any suggestion ?
17:33 pdurbin Sudfunk: hi! Hold on, there's a GitHub issue about this.
17:34 pdurbin Documentation: Add info on passing log in credentials to configured SMTP server. · Issue #3061 · IQSS/dataverse - https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3061
