You probably have two problems:

1. You see this confusing error that doesn't actually cause any harm: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3303

2. Dataverse has not been deployed to Glassfish, which is why you see the default Glassfish homepage. This is the problem we should try to fix for you so you can make progress.

thanks Phil .. for the quick info ., no i am trying to installing with the new one .., i implement in virtual box , but in production server i' m still confuse of the dependencies conflict ..

i've already got postgresql dumps going but they're attachments to those datasets that should be restored too

basically how would you go about restoring a dataverse from a backup after a critical failure/reinstall on a different system?

@andrewSC that's up to your backup strategy, you'd probably back up the postgres dumps alongside the flat files

do a 'man pg_restore' - assuming the username/password is identical, you'd just import your most recent good database dump

@andrewSC i've moved test machines around several times and imported test copies of our production machines. there's always stuff to tweak, but it's pretty much the database dump, the files/ hierarchy and glassfish config
