11:42 mouse-nioz Is it possible to change the PID Provider in dataverse? and if so where can i find an explaination as to how this is done?
11:43 pdurbin mouse-nioz: hi! There are some groups working on this. Let me find the issue. It would be great for you to leave a comment on it.
11:46 pdurbin mouse-nioz: here's the issue I'm thinking of: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/4106 . Also, if your institution has its own DataCite proxy, you can configure Dataverse to use it. Which PID provider are you using?
11:50 mouse-nioz pdurbin: he thanks, for testing purposes we want to use the "handle.test.datacite.org" as provider.  now from what I understand our dataverse tries to use "doi.org" which we don't register to in our test cases.
11:59 pdurbin ok

15:46 juancorr Hi @pdurbin, I have spoke with  @JayanthyChengan https://github.com/GlobalDataverseCommunityConsortium/dataverse-language-packs/issues/2#issuecomment-472439884 .
15:51 juancorr I have develop a different solution for facets to the @JayanthyChengan solution. Should I make a new pull request, should I update the previous or it is better not add more options to the same problem?
16:06 pdurbin juancorr: to be honest, I'm not sure that I'm following the discussion very well. Are you planning on attending the internationalization meeting mentioned at https://groups.google.com/d/msg/dataverse-internationalization-wg/2zSl9xDpH7g/nupF36KNBwAJ ?
16:08 juancorr Yes I will attend the meeting.
16:09 pdurbin Great! I think your question falls very well under "2. Internationalization Dev efforts update + next steps".
16:30 juancorr Perfect, thanks @pdurbin.
16:30 pdurbin Sure. I also invited Jayanthy here in case you two want to talk.
