11:14 pdurbin poikilotherm: I spoke with Neil last night. This guy: https://twitter.com/npch/status/1222462721960087552
11:27 poikilotherm pdurbin: could you take a ROR and a SW Heritage sticker with you for me?
11:28 poikilotherm And maybe anything else you might think of as a cool sticker for a Dataverse hacker?
11:57 pdurbin poikilotherm: sure, I already have some ROR stickers from the event yesterday: https://twitter.com/ResearchOrgs/status/1222159655377473539
12:04 pdurbin I'm in a talk about the European Open Science Cloud: https://pidapalooza20.sched.com/event/Xl6R/the-eosc-pid-policy

14:38 Benjamin_Peuch Hullo
14:38 Benjamin_Peuch How's the port wine, pdurbin?
14:42 pdurbin They just had a contest to give some away but I went for the hallway track instead. :)
14:43 Benjamin_Peuch That's an interesting expression. Just looked it up.
15:00 pdurbin You know how it is. Some talks are fantastic. Some, well. The hallway track is more predictable. :)
15:26 Benjamin_Peuch Hey pdurbin, we have a question about the Import a Dataset functionality.
15:26 Benjamin_Peuch So far, Youssef could only import a dataset's metadata, but not the dataset (the files) propere.
15:26 Benjamin_Peuch Is that normal?
15:27 Benjamin_Peuch I'm not entirely sure when I read this section of the API Guide http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.18/api/native-api.html#import-a-dataset-into-a-dataverse whether it's supposed to do that (import the metadata record) or if it should actually copy the files (import them) as well.
15:27 Benjamin_Peuch I understand it might not be easy for you to conduct a lot of in-depth research at the moment. Just asking in case you know the answer right here right now.
15:29 pdurbin The short answer is I don't know. Can you please ask at https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/dataverse-community ?
15:38 Benjamin_Peuch I will. Thanks for the link. :)
15:51 pdurbin sure :)
