14:41 Benjamin_Peuch Hey there poikilotherm. Sorry for my late reaction, I was in a meeting.
14:41 Benjamin_Peuch Thanks pdurbin! I'll have to pass this time. I just got out of a call.
14:41 pkiraly pdurbin, thanks for the notification! Unfortunaly I'll have another meeting the same time, so I am not able to join
14:42 pdurbin Benjamin_Peuch: no worries. Thanks for opening that very clear issue about contributors.
14:42 pdurbin pkiraly: so many meetings
14:43 pkiraly same there as well? Some days I am not able to to open even the IDE because of the meetings...
14:44 pdurbin I always make time to open the IDE. :)
14:47 pkiraly pdurbin, the solution for sorting the table proved to be failed, so I closed the PR. I will try to find a colleague who knows primefaces. If I will fined nobody, then the alternative ideaa is to add a selection form element with the list of fields, and this can be used for set sorting.
14:50 pdurbin pkiraly: I had a thought about that... it might be easier to get sorting working via API first. That's how I often code stuff up anyway. API first, then JSF/Primefaces. Plus, it's nice to have APIs for all the features the UI has.
14:51 pkiraly pdurbin, yes, sounds acceptable
14:52 pdurbin With the API you could even write tests if you want. :)
14:52 pdurbin I mean, it's possible to write UI test too but in practice we don't right now.
15:01 Benjamin_Peuch pdurbin: My pleasure. Thanks for your assistance, prompt and clear as always :)
15:01 Youssef_Ouahalou Thanks Durbin, I'm going to connect :D
15:03 pdurbin great!
