14:01 pdurbin poikilotherm: I haven't looked at your comment yet but thanks.
14:01 poikilotherm Morning pdurbin
14:02 poikilotherm It's more than a comment now :-D
14:02 poikilotherm https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/pull/7136
14:05 pdurbin so I see
14:05 pdurbin you haven't put it in code review yet
14:07 poikilotherm Done
14:09 pdurbin thanks
14:36 poikilotherm pdurbin: BTW where did that "ThrowableHandler" come from in https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/pull/7086#issuecomment-664586491 ? kcondon mentioned a 403 error above your comment and couldn't find a message with this in the discussion...
14:38 pdurbin poikilotherm: if you click "Edited" on the comment above you'll see it. If you have access, that is.
14:38 poikilotherm Ah!
14:38 poikilotherm That makes sense now
14:38 pdurbin You can also see it at https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/7134
14:39 poikilotherm Yeah, kcondon splitted and edited his comment
14:46 pdurbin split. yeah
14:46 pdurbin it's a matter of scope
14:46 pdurbin whose bug it is
15:02 pdurbin bricas donsizemore jri juancorr26 poikilotherm: the community call is starting: https://dataverse.org/community-calls
15:12 poikilotherm That was quick :-D
15:12 pdurbin yeah
15:13 pdurbin maybe I should have asked you and Julian to talk about your datacite stuff
15:15 poikilotherm Oh. Yeah. That would have been a good opportunity
15:15 poikilotherm Meh
15:17 pdurbin most of those calls are that short
15:17 poikilotherm Should we try to get on a call?
15:17 pdurbin yeah, I think you should
15:17 poikilotherm Maybe you can poke him :-D
15:18 poikilotherm Or is he working remote?
15:19 pdurbin We're all remote. I just started a Slack with him and you.
15:19 poikilotherm Oh then I need to login to Slack :-D

16:37 dataverse-user Hello everybody =)
16:44 dataverse-user I'm facing a problem that hadn't happened before.... I installed dataverse and handle, in a server for testing and it worked well... I followed exactly the same steps to install again, but now in other server. Handle is accessible in https://domain:8000 as expected, however when I try to add a new dataset I have an error message
16:45 dataverse-user Error – The dataset could not be created. If you believe this is an error, please contact support Support for assistance.

17:15 dataverse-user IDK what is happening =/
17:21 pdurbin dataverse-user: hi, unfortunately I don't know much about Handle installations.
17:23 pdurbin Is there any more information in server.log?
17:34 donsizemore @dataverse-user you've configured Dataverse to listen on https on port 8000?
17:36 pdurbin Handle might be on 8000.
17:48 dataverse-user yes I did...
17:48 dataverse-user I was looking in access log from handle... idk why it has a reference for another index
17:48 dataverse-user (the one used in another server
17:49 pdurbin Have you emailed support@dataverse.org?
17:57 dataverse-user not yet....
17:58 pdurbin You probably should. And when you get a ticket number, please share it with us here.
17:58 dataverse-user right. Thanks pdurbin =)

19:31 pameyer the API error messages :)
19:32 pameyer ... that was incoherent, sorry.  but they seem to have gotten way better
19:47 pdurbin oh good
19:58 pdurbin pameyer: did you see this? [Dataverse-Users] DCM installation on Ubuntu 18.04
19:58 pdurbin https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community/c/D9b8TvrJn7g/m/NGBDUtS0BwAJ
20:00 pdurbin ah, the conversation has moved to https://github.com/sbgrid/data-capture-module/issues/37
20:01 pameyer pdurbin: I did see the issue
20:01 pameyer glad it got moved there or I'd have missed it
20:02 pdurbin I just replied on the thread to link to the issue.
20:03 pdurbin I assume DCM would work find on Ubuntu. It's mostly Python and Bash.
20:05 pameyer it should, but the dependencies are a little different
20:05 pdurbin yeah
20:06 pdurbin could make a .deb :)
20:08 pameyer if I'm remembering right, those are easier than rpms
20:08 pdurbin I've only made rpms.
20:12 pameyer it's been many years for me.  and now that I think about it, I didn't put dependencies in - so I'll likely wrong about it being easier
20:12 pdurbin maybe you'll get a contribution :)
20:15 pameyer that would be great
