11:15 donsizemore @pvranckx hello, did you have CORS enabled on the bucket (and if you've upgraded to 5.1.1, have you added the ETag header? it's new) https://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/developers/big-data-support.html?highlight=etag
11:15 donsizemore ^^ exposed the ETag header, I should say
11:20 pvranckx You're right... shame on me... That's the problem. I'll have a look at our CEPH configuration.

14:17 adam_berlin hi everyone. we have 2 dataverses which are - relating to the UI - linked to themselves. However, the dataverselinkingdataverse table in the database does not list such a link (and we don't remember setting them). Has anyone heard of this before? Unlink API also says that the link could not be found. How do we fix the UIs display?

15:01 pdurbin adam_berlin: hi. I just got out of a meeting. Are you still around?
15:07 bricas_ i've yet to dig into this, just wondering, has anyone upgraded to DV 5.x on Ubuntu?
15:11 pdurbin bricas_: I feel like someone has, maybe Slava. I'd suggest asking on the mailing list.
15:23 donsizemore @bricas_ I don't imagine you'd run into many problems, have you tried on a test system?
15:30 adam_berlin hey pdurbin, yes, I am still around
15:33 bricas_ i've not tried anything :)
15:34 bricas_ kinda put a pin in it since it's not a straight-forward upgrade like previous releases
15:34 bricas_ not sure what's involved in moving from glassfish to payara
15:35 bricas_ (i mean, i see the upgrade docs. doesn't seem terrible, just hoping someone else had done it first :)
15:53 pdurbin adam_berlin: great. I'm in and out, trying to fix a pull request. In Slack we're wondering if it's a stale Solr index, if reindexing will helps.
15:53 pdurbin help*
15:58 adam_berlin pdurbin: guess I am outing myself but I haven't heard of solr index yet and don't know what reindexing actually means. do you have any documentation on dataverse-context that I could read?
16:00 pdurbin adam_berlin: sure, please see https://guides.dataverse.org/en/5.1.1/admin/solr-search-index.html#full-reindex
16:02 adam_berlin pdurbin: thanks! I will call it a day for now and have a look at that one together with an IT colleague tomorrow (I am a mere data manager, with little extra steps). do you also have a link for the pull request you mentioned above?
16:05 pdurbin The one I'm trying to fix? It's pretty unrelated. :) Let me link you to a related issue though: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/7259
16:06 pdurbin This is what I'm working on. A pull request was accidentally merged early and then reverted: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/pull/7311#issuecomment-717932732
16:10 adam_berlin pdurbin: oh, i see! misunderstood you then. Thanks for your help, we will try tomorrow. Have a nice day!
16:15 pdurbin You too.

20:12 Alejandra65 Hi guys, I hope you're ok.
20:13 Alejandra65 I have a question, could you help me?
20:13 Alejandra65 We are planning to enable Amazon S3 Storage in our Dataverse
20:15 Alejandra65 dataverse 5.1,  i read that we can now upload files larger than 5 GB  on installations running AWS S3
20:16 Alejandra65 is there a file limit size?
20:35 pdurbin Alejandra65: hi! I don't think there's a file size limit.

20:37 Alejandra96 thanks pdurbin
20:37 dataverse-user in theory the limit is 5TB
20:39 Alejandra96 Thank you all very much
20:39 dataverse-user I'm not aware of anyone testing beyond ~100GB so far, so I'd be curious to know if you push it farther.
20:39 dataverse-user (Jim, qqmyers hiding as dataverse-user)
20:40 pdurbin dataverse-user: you can always try "/nick Jim" :)
20:45 dataverse-user Thanks - I usually remember when joining and I get Jim<number>.
20:47 poikilotherm Ha dataverse-user did you enable an alerting when someone mentions S3 here? Or is pdurbin your monitoring system? ;-)
20:50 pdurbin I'm his monitoring system.
20:50 pdurbin But not for long, it's almost beer thirty.
20:51 dataverse-user Automation by Phil (TM) :-)
