14:16 poikilotherm2 Hey folks, anyone has a DOI from a Dataset that has seen some ingest? A colleague needs and example of a dataset that can be found by ingested content of uploaded data and not just metadata alone.
15:28 pdurbin poikilotherm2: there's a tabular file in this dataset of mine that has gone through ingest: https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/TJCLKP
15:29 pdurbin It can be found by the content (any of the columns) like this: https://dataverse.harvard.edu/dataverse/open-source-at-harvard/?q=variableName%3Awatchers
15:29 poikilotherm2 Thx mate!
15:30 poikilotherm2 I'll forward it
15:30 poikilotherm2 May I ask another pesky question?
15:31 pdurbin certainly
15:32 poikilotherm2 We talked about German being a language that has a word for everything, but really can't think of a word for this:
15:32 poikilotherm2 Given a path like /x/y/z/.../foobar, what would you call "foobar"? (Assuming "foobar" is a directory)
15:32 poikilotherm2 Last directory?
15:32 poikilotherm2 Lowest?
15:32 poikilotherm2 Tail of the path?
15:32 pdurbin leaf directory?
15:33 poikilotherm2 Gotcha!
15:33 poikilotherm2 That's awesome
15:34 poikilotherm2 Not so sure someone would call it "Blattordner" in German, though. "Blatt" also means "sheet", so that might confuse in our language.
15:34 poikilotherm2 (Ordner = folder, usually used for "directory")
15:35 poikilotherm2 THx pdurbin!
15:36 pdurbin Sure. Huh. I just looked at `man find` and there's a -noleaf flag.
15:38 poikilotherm2 Ha! Now we have a perfect example of English being a more precise language compared to German.
15:39 pdurbin :)
15:40 Virgile we have no word for leaf directory in french ;o can't imagine saying "répertoire feuille" répertoire = folder / feuille = leaf or sheet ^^
15:41 Virgile but french is a messy langage - so i guess it doesn't count ;-)
15:41 Virgile language*
16:18 pdurbin poikilotherm2: you probably know this already but you can make more file types (PDFs, etc) searchable by turning on :SolrFullTextIndexing
16:19 poikilotherm2 Yeah, I know :-) Just wanted to have a real world example to look at for my colleague
16:21 pdurbin Ok. for full text indexing, you could look at QDR, who has it on.
16:28 poikilotherm2 Thx for the hint, maybe I'll take a look tomorrow
16:29 poikilotherm2 I'm done for today. Just submitted my PR to Payara docs for the updated config source, now off to construction site.
16:29 pdurbin 👍
16:30 poikilotherm2 Read y'all on me mobile. Ba ab
