I know we sorta touched on this before but I was wondering what ever happened to the curation discussions? Basically having the ability for some user with a role or permission set so they have the ability to create a draft, but an admin or someone with "publish" permissions could review the draft and either approve/publish or deny it and have the creator of the dataset go back and make changes then submit

I've gone through releases from 4.3.1 to 4.6 and didn't see anything sorta similar to what I'm describing? Also took a look at the waffle board but didn't go all the way through the backlog :P

andrewSC: hi, if you only grant the "Contributor" role to the dataset author, he or she cannot publish. Does that help?

Out of the box, people should't be able to edit each other's datasets. That would be a bug. :)
