Hi pdurbin, After i added sitURL some of the DDI export's <otherMat URI > has http and some datasetse has https. I used the export ddi button in the metadata tab. any thought?
13:18
pdurbin
soU: is it coming from the database somehow? Is there a pattern where older datasets are http and newer ones are https or vice versa?
13:21
soU
yes it seems the older has https the newer http
13:21
pdurbin
soU: I just noticed there's a field called "archiveurl" in the "harvestingdataverseconfig" table: http://phoenix.dataverse.org/schemaspy/latest/tables/harvestingdataverseconfig.html
13:22
pdurbin
also "harvestingurl"
13:23
soU
let me check what do those table has inside
13:24
pdurbin
ok. there's also "archiveurl" and "harvestingurl" in the "harvestingclient" table: http://phoenix.dataverse.org/schemaspy/latest/tables/harvestingclient.html
13:24
pdurbin
I'm just grasping at straws. I don't know this code.
13:28
soU
ok
13:28
pdurbin
and the guy who does will be out until Monday
13:30
soU
let me check the table content and if i can't figure it out I'll wait him till monday
13:33
soU
ok both harvestingdataverseconfig and harvestingclient are empty here
13:34
soU
pdurbin: Do you have any other thought?
13:38
pdurbin
soU: I'll leave a comment on the issue
13:39
soU

13:53
cuakkk
May be, there is some demo of dataverse online I could try? do someone knows?
13:54
pdurbin
cuakkk: yes! Here you go: https://demo.dataverse.org
13:55
donsizemore
@pdurbin you said you didn't need it so i killed it. but i could probably bring another one up?
13:56
pdurbin
donsizemore: that's fine. Just asking because we're probably sending this issue to QA today: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/3938
13:56

soU
yes, but the code is pretty clear unless we are on wrong place
15:13
pdurbin
soU: you could do a database dump and grep from "https"
15:13

for* https

20:07
cuakkk
Yes pdurbin, I tried the demo site, looks awesome. Just a bit curious about technology
20:08
cuakkk
seems it's made with JSF or some flavour of it
20:09
pdurbin
cuakkk: yeah. PrimeFaces, which is a component library for JSF.

I've another question, seems like the pom.xml uses jee7 + some glassfish dependencies, is it GF3 o GF4?
20:29
pdurbin
cuakkk: Glassfish 4: http://guides.dataverse.org/en/4.8/installation/prerequisites.html#glassfish
20:31
cuakkk
Thank you pdurbin, that's all for now :)
20:31
